Matti Spence – When it comes to letting go of the image

We will be publishing When it comes to letting go of the image, a collection of poems by Matti Spence in July, 2018.

Matti is a poet and street musician based in Totnes, Devon. Examples of his work can be found in journals such as The Lighthouse, 3:am Magazine, The Rialto and Southerly, with some recent sound recordings now available on Archive of the Now. Matti is currently beginning a fellowship as part of St Ethelburga’s Spiritual Ecology Youth Programme, where he is developing a community writing project based on poetry and pilgrimage. In the summer of 2015 he participated in the Enemies Project South West Poetry tour, and in September 2017 at the hestercap / letglock collaboration – Hesterglock Press // Caplet Poetry in Dialogue w/ Jonathan Mann, Jude Cowan Montague, Amy Mcauley, Iris Colomb & paul hawkins.
